Finally!

I finally got my copy of 21 Nights today and I love it. It is really well presented and I love the shots, which made me wish I could have gone. I also loved the fact that they listed out all of the great clothes that were featured in the book. I must admit that I read the reviews over at the so called prince forums who were getting stuck into it. The usual negativity, that he posed too much etc. I mean really isn't that what model 's do? we all do, whats wrong with that! There were live shots in there as well. It really was like a big mixture of music and fashion, the arts really.

Just read an article by Edna Gundersen from USA today regarding Prince's Book 21 nights and it was great to hear about how he is thinking. I am looking forward to getting my hands on this book along with some new music.

I miss him! Prince

It's been very quite on the Prince front and I miss him. When the whole PFU action started one of my solutions was to have Prince not release anymore music. I saw this as a way to punish the PFU movement and make them realise what they would miss out on. Now that's it's happening, I am finding it hard.

Maybe punish is too harsh a word, I just want them to realise that they are whinging too much over nothing. They should appreaciate him more.

What goes around comes around

Well now they know what it feels like, that's what they get for trying to portray that they have any official word at all. They thought that he owed them for supporting him and buying his stuff, you bought the music not him. Now we have no official word due to your selfish actions.

Croake Park

Negativity is floating around and rumours that the Dublin concert will be cancelled. I hope its not and will look to the positive and hope it all works out in the end. I almost missed out on 3121 last year and was upset when I found out he wasn't playing the weekend I was there. But I managed to change my flights to manage to see one show and it was well worth it and nothing will compare. I do want to see him at a big stadium though and am excited, not long before I am headed overseas.

Prince + Coachella

I wish I was at Coachella this year, none of the music up on offer would interest me except for Prince. I hate to judge the other acts but I am sure Prince was judged that way when he was announced to perform this year and is still being judged after his set. I'm excited now, can't wait to see him again soon.

Prince + Leno

It's been talked about for weeks and the day had finally arrived, after so much silence comming from the Prince camp he was about to perform for us. What song would he play? will it be from Planet Earth or will it be a song about the PFU action taken against him. Well it was a new song called Turn me Loose and it's a little ripper. I loved it and was not suprised about the fans reactions over at the self proclaimed best Prince forums. They always go towards the negative, too short, not funky enough etc..

While only one song was televised Prince actually played another two songs for the audience, If that were me I would of said stuff you. But I think it's a good sign that Prince does not hold grudges and knows that all of his fans are not the same negative whingers.

This blog is all about Prince and things that arise by living in the Prince fan online world. As all Prince fans know, 3121 Prince's official site has not been updated for months now. I still go to check it every now and then and it still just a black screen.

My theory is that Prince has done this to his official site as he is pissed at his so called fans over at housequake, prince.org, princefams etc after they had gone to the worldwide press stating that Prince was attacking his own fans. I do visit these sites and I was also upset as I do not agree with the action that they had taken and feel like I was automatically pushed into their corner. I am also upset that they went to the press with this, all they acheived was help the press try to turn Prince into the next Michael Jackson and try to ruin his career.

This happend a few months ago and while you must think that I should have gotten over it by now, I haven't. They whinged and whinged that Prince's official sites would not give us the heads up on Prince happenings and when they did that it was already mentioned on their fans sites. Even if this was true at least we had a site that would confirm the news, now we have nothing and keep on wondering what's going on. Prince has announced a show at Croke Park in Ireland and while the tickets have gone on sale many fans are left wondering if any other European shows will follow.
